My work explores the idea that ordinary things are extraordinary.

Using photography as a way of looking more closely at the world, I explore how landscapes, cities, architecture and everyday places are shaped over time by weather, light, natural processes and human presence. What interests me is not simply how things look, but how they become what they are.

My photographs explore connections: between people and place, nature and culture, permanence and change, presence and absence. Whether presented individually or as part of a larger body of work, they invite viewers to spend time looking beyond the obvious.
